Great or Garbage: An Introduction and Rating Overview

Welcome to Great or Garbage Reviews! We review all things pop culture, including movies, television, music, and more. We celebrate the good, the bad, and the so-bad-it’s-good. Looking for a great new show to watch? We got you covered! Looking for a hilariously awful movie to watch and make fun of with your friends? We got your back! Here at Great or Garbage Reviews, we believe that just because a show or movie is “bad” does not necessarily mean it is not entertaining or worth your time. In fact, we believe that sometimes trash entertainment is the best entertainment and, to us, a project inciting a negative reaction is better than getting no reaction at all.

Here at Great or Garbage, we have a pretty simple grading system in place. We rate each project we review on a scale from Purely Great to Purely Garbage. Here’s how it goes:

Purely Great: This means the reviewer found the project to be of high quality and found it genuinely entertaining. A glowing recommendation with little to no negative criticism. This is the highest possible rating on our site.

Great, but Garbage: This means the reviewer understands that effort was put into the project and that it may be of high quality, but still did not find it entertaining.

Garbage, but Great: This means the reviewer understands that the project is not of the highest quality, but still found it entertaining nonetheless. It’s gonna rot your brain, but since when is that a bad thing?

Purely Garbage: This means the reviewer found the project to be both low quality and not entertaining, with minimal redeeming qualities if any. This is the lowest possible rating on our site.

Pretty straightforward, no? Stay with us to keep yourself updated on the good, the bad, and the so-bad-it’s-good in entertainment!
